Naeemah was born in Pensacola, Florida and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Her family moved to Maryland in 1971 where she resided until 2000 when she moved back to Atlanta.
Her singing career started at the age of 5. She performed at school and social events. As a teenager, she was a member of several bands throughout the years. While in Maryland, Naeemah was the lead vocalist for Expression Band, and was nominated for the Wammie Award, as one of the best bands in the Washington Metropolitan Area by the Washington Area Music Association. Performing in clubs and cabarets over the east coast, she delivered high energy, passion, and excitement with every performance. Naeemah is not only a dynamic vocalist, she is also a lyricist. She carries with her experience, professionalism, perseverance, creativity and a genuine love for her art.
In 2005 Naeemah joined Eloquent Soul, one of the hottest bands in the Atlanta area. She is currently working on her CD which should be released in early 2008.
In addition to many weddings, receptions, private functions and New Year Eve bashes, Naeemah and Eloquent Soul have performed at the Hyatt in Buckhead for Urban Soul and regularly at the Paradise Restaurant & Lounge in Tucker, GA, Skyline Nightclub in Dunwoody, and The Gallery Bistro in Decatur.
